# Solana on v3

Pangea v3: every new launch, stock pairs and questions. Every launch since 2026-11-02 is a v3 launch, made by factory v3 on all five chains. This tab is everything new in v3: the factories, the fee hook, launch buys, stock pairs, the bridge price-gap fee, Solana, the security model, and plain-language questions and answers at the end. Bridging, routes and the APIs are in the V2 tab and hold for v3 except where this tab says otherwise.

- Solana's leg of a launch is made by Pangea's splitter program, and its pool is a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. Meteora keeps 20% of the pool's fees, so the creator's share on Solana is lower than on the EVM chains.
- Launch buys are on the EVM chains. On Solana, buy once the pool is live.
- The price-gap fee prices Solana from a shared price log of the pool. A v3 coin's first Solana route opening also creates that log, about 0.071688 SOL of rent, paid once by whoever opens it. Out of Solana, your wallet may first sign a small "record the price" transaction (its signature fee only), then the transfer.
- Arrivals into Solana are landed by Pangea's delivery key with 650,000 compute units; its cost is withheld from what arrives, in the coin, and a new wallet's first arrival has its token-account rent withheld too. Both are shown in the quote.
- A launch with Solana can open all four Solana bridge routes at launch (a tick box); otherwise the first person to bridge on each route pays its one-time setup.
- Wrapped SOL (WSOL) is SOL held as a token, in a token account of your wallet. A Solana fee claim pays SOL to your wallet, or wrapped SOL into your wrapped-SOL account when your wallet cannot take it directly: it is still your SOL, and wallets can unwrap it. A Solana launch sent from your own wallet can leave your wrapped-SOL account open with its rent in it: the launch page's Reclaim button closes it and returns the rent. A payment the page refuses because a swap would spend from an account that is not your own wallet's wrapped SOL was not sent: nothing left your wallet. Try again from the same wallet, and ask support if it keeps happening.
- A Solana wallet used for a launch must be able to sign a plain text message. Many hardware wallets and multisigs cannot.
