# Launch buys

Pangea v3: every new launch, stock pairs and questions. Every launch since 2026-11-02 is a v3 launch, made by factory v3 on all five chains. This tab is everything new in v3: the factories, the fee hook, launch buys, stock pairs, the bridge price-gap fee, Solana, the security model, and plain-language questions and answers at the end. Bridging, routes and the APIs are in the V2 tab and hold for v3 except where this tab says otherwise.

A launch can name wallets that each get a first buy of the coin inside the launch transaction on an EVM chain, right after the pool opens and before anyone else can trade: up to 10 wallets on one chain and 32 over all of the launch's chains. They are signed into the launch with its price, so they cannot be changed or added to after.

- The creator's fee wallet pays for them beforehand, into that chain's launch-buys contract, in the pool's pair asset: the native coin, or the paired stock token.
- They run in the order listed, so earlier entries buy at a lower price. Each one is made in full or skipped; a buy that fails never fails the launch.
- Launch buys pay the pool's trading fee, like any trade.
- Money not spent comes back: the payer can take it back as soon as the launch lands, or 7 days after their last deposit if it never does. A wallet that paid in for someone else's launch can only ever take its own deposit back.
- Solana's pool is opened by Pangea's program: launch buys are on the EVM chains.

> **Note:** The dev buy is separate: your own money, on the chain you pay on, in the same transaction as the fee. [Launch fee →](https://www.pangea.trade/app/docs?v=2#launch-fee)
