# Fees on v3: the fee hook and the creator's share

Pangea v3: every new launch, stock pairs and questions. Every launch since 2026-11-02 is a v3 launch, made by factory v3 on all five chains. This tab is everything new in v3: the factories, the fee hook, launch buys, stock pairs, the bridge price-gap fee, Solana, the security model, and plain-language questions and answers at the end. Bridging, routes and the APIs are in the V2 tab and hold for v3 except where this tab says otherwise.

The creator picks the trading fee at launch, 0.3% to 5%, the same on every chain or a different one on each. Every trade pays it. On the EVM chains the fee hook takes it in each Uniswap v4 pool; on Solana the pool takes it. It is fixed at launch: the live hook has no way to change a pool's fee.

The fee is always taken in the pool's pair asset, never in the coin: ETH or BNB on the EVM chains, SOL on Solana, or the stock token on a chain paired with a stock.

## The split

The platform takes 20% of the fee, and never less than 0.2% of the volume; the creator, or the fee receiver the creator named, gets the rest. On Solana, Meteora keeps 20% of the pool's fees first, so the creator's share there is lower.

| Trading fee | Platform | Creator |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 0.3% | 0.2% | 0.1% |
| 0.5% | 0.2% | 0.3% |
| 1% | 0.2% | 0.8% |
| 2% | 0.4% | 1.6% |
| 5% | 1% | 4% |

- Each launch's fees collect in its own fee splitter on each EVM chain, and anyone may pay them out. A payout that cannot be sent (a receiver that refuses it) is set aside for that receiver to claim, and never blocks the other side's payout.
- Creator fees are paid out automatically when there is enough to be worth the gas, or claimed at once from Profile, under Creator fees. [Creator wallets and fee receiver →](https://www.pangea.trade/app/docs?v=2#creator-wallets)
- 80% of platform fees go to PANGEA buybacks.
