# Creator rewards, claims and community takeovers

Pangea v3: every new launch, stock pairs and questions. Every launch since 2026-11-02 is a v3 launch, made by factory v3 on all five chains. This tab is everything new in v3: the factories, the fee hook, launch buys, stock pairs, the bridge price-gap fee, Solana, the security model, and plain-language questions and answers at the end. Bridging, routes and the APIs are in the V2 tab and hold for v3 except where this tab says otherwise.

## Where the fees collect

- On each EVM chain, in the launch's own fee splitter: the fee hook takes the fee on every trade and the splitter divides it between the creator (or the fee receiver) and the platform.
- On Solana, in the pool's locked position, held by Pangea's splitter program, which pays the creator and the platform in the same instruction.
- Fees arrive in the pool's pair asset: ETH, BNB or SOL, or the stock token on a stock-paired chain.

## Getting paid

- Automatically: every 5 minutes Pangea's payout run pays out each coin whose waiting fees are worth at least 20 times the payout's gas.
- At once: Profile, Creator fees, "Claim now" pays a coin's fees out on that chain, split exactly as the automatic payout does. You send the transaction and pay its gas. Anyone may trigger a payout, but it only ever pays the creator's and the platform's own addresses.
- A payout a receiver cannot take (a contract that refuses it) is set aside for that receiver to claim, and never holds up the other side.
- Your fees show on your profile within a minute or two of launch, on every chain, Solana included, and move from unclaimed to claimed about a minute after a payout.
- With custom tokenomics, the coin's vault is the receiver: it spends the share as set at launch.

## Changing who is paid

A coin's fee receiver is fixed at launch, and the creator cannot hand it on alone. Only the platform can propose a new one, and the change takes effect only when the new address accepts it, on each chain (the coin's page shows an Accept card to that wallet). `GET /api/coin/[id]/fee-receivers` shows who is paid now; `/pending` shows a change waiting.

## Community takeovers (CTO)

- When a creator abandons a coin and its community takes it over, the platform can move the coin's creator fee stream, on each chain, to a wallet Pangea holds for that coin. The coin then shows a CTO badge.
- Each takeover is set to one of two things: the fees are passed on to the community's new owner wallet automatically, every few minutes; or they are used to buy the coin on each chain and burn it, every burn listed by GET /api/cto/burns.
- Nothing else about the coin changes: its liquidity stays locked and its trading fee stays the same. GET /api/cto lists every takeover and when each chain moved.

> **Note:** All-time creator payouts are on the Live page and at GET /api/creator-rewards. [API map →](https://www.pangea.trade/app/docs#v3-api)
