# Launch types

Every launch uses the same five-chain structure, single-sided liquidity and locked positions. The launch type determines the trading pair and any additional features.

- **Standard** (Live): A plain pool paired with each chain's native asset. No hooks means standard swap events stay compatible with DexScreener and other aggregators.
- **Stock-paired** (Planned): Pairs the token with a tokenized stock on the stock's native chain. The other chains continue using their native assets, so prices must account for the different quote assets.
- **Hooks** (With trade-offs): Uniswap v4 supports hooks, but Meteora has no equivalent, so a hook-based launch cannot use the same setup on all five chains. Custom swap accounting can also break the standard swap events aggregators read.
