# The market cap situation

Terminals and apps calculate market cap in different ways. A token’s full market cap is the sum of its market caps on all five chains.

The price is the same on every terminal and app. You can bridge your tokens, or buy on any of the five contracts, at the same dollar price for the same number of tokens.

To see a token’s complete market cap, use its page on this site: it is the most accurate source.

The differences between platforms come from how Pangea manages supply on each chain to keep prices in line. That is what keeps the price gap between chains small, and what makes a single token across many chains possible. Every platform is consistent with itself, and many of them show the same figures.

**The key point:** the same token, at the same price, on every chain.
